Our expertise spans multiple industries, including commercial, data centres, healthcare, and manufacturing, providing tailored solutions that prioritize efficiency, safety, and quality. With a strong focus on MEP systems and facilities management, Sensori Group offers innovative, cost-effective solutions backed by a skilled, responsive team.

Lead on‑site authority for electrical and MEP works, combining technical oversight, safety authorisation, and programme control to ensure safe, compliant, and auditable delivery of Sensori projects.

Role purpose

Act as Sensori’s nominated Authorised Person (AP) on site, responsible for approving energisations and isolations, enforcing electrical safe systems of work, and signing off mechanical completion and handover packages. The role blends hands‑on technical verification with planning, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination to deliver safe, timely project outcomes across construction, installation, maintenance and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the necessary cover for all systems and installations for which the company has control of the electrical danger.
  • Ensure Sensori's Operation and Energisation procedures for work on LV and MV systems are adhered to throughout the project.
  • Implement maintenance policies for the Technical Services Department.
  • Manage the LOTO processes and procedures on site in alignment with Sensori's Operation and Energisation procedures for work on LV and MV systems.
  • Ensure low voltage switching plans are executed on site for all LV circuits.
  • Where the role extends to HV, ensure high voltage / medium voltage switching plans are executed on site for all HV/MV circuits.
  • Take responsibility for the prospective systems, carrying out switching operations on the HV/LV system.
  • Where applicable and directed by the management team, implement the QR code process for each ACB/MCCB on the project.
  • Review and verify that the correct arc flash PPE is worn by personnel working within electrical rooms, in line with the project arc flash study.
  • Where no arc flash study exists, apply the guidelines set out in Sensori's Operation and Energisation procedures for work on LV and MV systems.
  • Ensure a system is in place to investigate any equipment subject to an Operational Restriction.
  • Ensure all accidents, incidents or dangerous occurrences associated with work on electrical distribution systems are immediately notified to the Senior Authorised Person.
  • Ensure all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings and handover meetings.
  • Assist with the close-out of all project items including final account, O&M manuals, punch list, safety file, QA file, material and plant relocations and project plan, with the support of the site Project Manager.
  • Drive the Sensori culture of safety and quality throughout the project.
  • Provide the safety and quality leadership required on all Sensori projects.
